Every order starts with a written, fixed quote. You pay through a secure card link, and the delivery clock starts once we have your payment and the documents on our checklist. If we miss the delivery date in your quote, we refund that product’s fee in full.

Laboratory fees and customs broker fees are paid directly to the lab and to your broker. They are not part of our prices.
What counts as one product
One certificate, one product — CPSC’s rule, not ours.
The rule
Each finished product certificate must describe only one product 16 CFR 1110.13(a). Our price follows it: one certificate, one price.
Apparel
CPSC treats apparel items made from the same material in several styles, sizes and colors as one product, if they were manufactured and tested together Product Registry FAQ, Q12. A pajama set in four sizes is usually one certificate.
Separate certificates
Products that differ by a material change — design, manufacturing process or source of components that could affect compliance — need separate certificates Product Registry FAQ, Q12 16 CFR 1107.2.
Updated certificate
A new version of an existing certificate after a periodic test, a material change, a new factory or a change in your data. It is priced like a new certificate, or counts as one of the ten in the Catalog Plan.
Payment and refunds
Paid in advance. Refunded if we are late.
Quote
Written and fixed, per product, with the delivery date. Nothing starts until you accept it.
Payment
In advance, through a secure card payment link sent with the quote. A receipt for every payment.
Delivery clock
Starts when we have both your payment and the documents on our checklist. U.S. business days are Monday to Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.
Late delivery
Not delivered by the date in your quote: we refund that product’s fee in full. No forms, no argument.
Our mistakes
If something we wrote is wrong or missing, we correct it at no charge — including a new Registry version if one is needed.
Catalog Plan
Billed monthly in advance. Cancel by email at any time before your next billing date. Unused certificates do not carry over to the next month.
Not included
Outside our prices — and our work.
These belong to other professionals, or to you as the certifier.
- Laboratory testing and lab fees. A CPSC-accepted lab tests children’s products; we tell you which tests to order.
- Customs clearance and filing with CBP, which is a licensed customs broker’s work.
- Legal advice or a legal opinion on your product.
- Logging into your Product Registry account, or entering data in it. You, your broker or your own Collection Editor imports our file.
- Certifying on your behalf. You review and certify; you remain legally responsible 16 CFR 1110.15.
- Any guarantee that goods will be admitted into the United States.
- Labeling rules of other agencies, such as FTC fiber-content and care labels.
